    Cream Cheese Pound Cake

    3/4 C butter
    1 8oz pkg cream cheese at room temperature
    1 1/2 C sugar
    1 1/2 teas. vanilla
    4 eggs
    1 3/4 C flour
    1 1/2 teas. baking powder

    Recipe



    Cream butter and cream cheese until fluffy and light, add sugar gradually, beating constantly.
    Add vanilla, beat in eggs, one at a time.
    Combine flour & baking powder; add to creamed mixture, beating well.
    Pour into greased 9x5 loaf pan.
    Bake 350° for about 75 mins. (oven temps can vary) until wooden toothpick comes out clean.
    Cool in pan for 10 minutes and turn onto rack to cool comlpetely.

    Makes one loaf : 75 mins
    Doubled recipe: Angelfood cake pan : 1 hr 50 mins
    Bake: preheat oven to 350°
