Caramel

My own tried and true recipe.
List of Ingredients
- 1 quart heavy cream
- 1 - 32 oz bottle of white corn syrup
- 4 C. sugar
- 1 pound butter
Instructions
- Combine ingredients in a heavy pan. Mixture will boil high so choose pan appropriately.
- Boil until mixture reaches 246 degrees. Pour into a well buttered pan.
- Cool overnight. Remove and place on cutting board.
- Cut and wrap caramels. Do not store in the refrigerator.
