    My own tried and true recipe.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 quart heavy cream
    • 1 - 32 oz bottle of white corn syrup
    • 4 C. sugar
    • 1 pound butter


    Instructions


    1. Combine ingredients in a heavy pan. Mixture will boil high so choose pan appropriately.

    2. Boil until mixture reaches 246 degrees. Pour into a well buttered pan.

    3. Cool overnight. Remove and place on cutting board.

    4. Cut and wrap caramels. Do not store in the refrigerator.
