    List of Ingredients


    • 2 T. SouthWestern Spice
    • 1 can (7 oz) chipotle peppers in adobo sauce(San Marcos brand)
    • 1/2 C. finely chopped onions
    • 2 tsp. minced garlic
    • 2 tsp. minced fresh ginger root
    • zest and juice of 1/2 lemon
    • zest and juice of 1/2 orange
    • 2 C. catsup
    • 2 T. prepared mustard
    • 1 T. liquid smoke
    • 1 T. Worcestershire sauce
    • 3/4 C. packed brown sugar
    • 1 tsp. salt
    • 1/4 tsp. ground cloves


    Instructions


    1. Puree chipotle peppers in adobo sauce. Reserve 2 T. for the BBQ sauce and freeze the remaider for later use.
    2. Combine the 2 T. pepper puree, 2 T. SouthWestern seaoning and the remainder of the ingredients.
    3. Mix well and store in the fridge or freezer.
