List of Ingredients
- 2 T. SouthWestern Spice
- 1 can (7 oz) chipotle peppers in adobo sauce(San Marcos brand)
- 1/2 C. finely chopped onions
- 2 tsp. minced garlic
- 2 tsp. minced fresh ginger root
- zest and juice of 1/2 lemon
- zest and juice of 1/2 orange
- 2 C. catsup
- 2 T. prepared mustard
- 1 T. liquid smoke
- 1 T. Worcestershire sauce
- 3/4 C. packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
Instructions
- Puree chipotle peppers in adobo sauce. Reserve 2 T. for the BBQ sauce and freeze the remaider for later use.
- Combine the 2 T. pepper puree, 2 T. SouthWestern seaoning and the remainder of the ingredients.
- Mix well and store in the fridge or freezer.
