    This soup is not only good for a quick snack, it can be used in any casserole that calls for a can of cream of chicken soup. Besides being delicious and inexpensive, it has the added benefit of being fat free.

    List of Ingredients




    3 c. powdered milk
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3 Tbsp. chicken bouillon granules
    3 Tbsp. dried onion flakes
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. parsley flakes

    Recipe



    Mix all ingredients together.

    To prepare, whisk 1/3 cup of the soup mix with 1 cup water. Simmer uncovered over medium heat, stirring frequently for 10 minutes. It can be used successfully in recipe without precooking. Just pour water and soup mix into casserole. Try other herbs and spices to vary flavor.
