Peanut Butter Cookies

List of Ingredients
1 C. shrtening (half lard, half butter)
1 C. granulated sugar
1 C. firmly packed light brown sugar
1 C. peanut butter
2 eggs
2 1/2 C. sifted flour
2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp saltRecipe
Cream shortening. Add sugars and peanut butter. Cream well. Add unbeaten eggs. Beat well.
Sift flour, soda, and salt together.
Add to creamed mixture. Blend.
Shape into balls. Use 1/2 level Tablespoon of dough.
Place on greased cookie sheets. Flatten with tines of fork. Bake at 350 degrees about 15 minutes.
Makes about 12 dozen.
