Girl Scouts love their casseroles!
List of Ingredients
- 1 can green beans
- 1 can lima beans
- 1 can red beans
- 1 can pork and beans
- 1 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 3 medium onions, diced
- 1/2 Cup vinegar
- 1 Cup brown sugar
- 1/2 the bacon fat (set aside)
Instructions
- Drain all beans except the pork and beans.
- Saute onions in bacon fat.
- Add vinegar and brown sugar and cook slowly about 20 minutes.
- Add beans and bacon.
- Bake at 350 for 1 hour uncovered, stiring occasioonally.
- Cover and refrigerate for 3 days.
- Reheat until hot.
