    Black-Bottom Pumpkin Pie

    Preheat oven; 400 degrees


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 jar Nonesuch Mincemeat
    • 1 can (28oz.) pumpkin pie mix ; prepared (Check can label for preparation ingredients---usually evaporated milk and eggs)
    • Your favorite single crust pie dough recipe
    • Non dairy whipped topping or whipped cream


    Instructions


    1. Prepare a single crust pie dough; form into a 9" pie pan. Flute the edges and dock(poke holes) in the bottom crust with the tines of a fork; set aside.
    2. In a separate bowl, combine ingredients with pumpkin pie mix as instructed on the label. Pour mince meat into pie crust, followed by pumpkin mixture.
    3. Bake in a preheated 400 deegree oven for 15 minutes.
    4. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees and bake about 25 minutes longer; insert knife in center; if it comes out "clean" the pie is done.
    5. Cool completely, Garnish with non dairy whipped topping or whipped cream, when served.
