My Hashbrown Casserole
List of Ingredients
- 32 oz. bag frozen Hashbrowns
- 1/2 cup green pepper-chopped
- 1/4 cup red pepper---chopped
- 1 medium onion-chopped
- 1-1/4 cups skim milk
- 1 can cheddar cheese soup-undiluted
- 8 slices bacon -fried and crumbled or 1 cup diced ham
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup croutons
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. white pepper
Instructions
- In a large bowl add, hashbrowns, chopped peppers, onion and crumbled bacon or ham.
- In a small bowl beat egg, milk and soup together.
- Add salt and pepper. Bake 400 degrees for 1 hour in a casserole dish that is covered, stirring after first 30 minutes. Remove and sprinkle croutons over top.
