    Peanut Butter Criss-Cross cookies

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 cup shortening
    • 1 cup brown sugar
    • 3 cups sifted all-purpose flour
    • 2 teaspoons baking soda
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1 cup white sugar
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 cup peanut butter
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla


    Instructions


    1. Cream shortening ,sugars, eggs and vanilla. Stir in peanut butter.
    2. Sift dry ingred. stir into creamed mixture.
    3. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
    4. Press with back of a fork for criss-cross.
    5. Bake at 350 degrees about 12 minutes or until edges are lightly brown.
