Country Baked Steak and Mushroom Gravy

This is one of my own creations and my family has enjoyed this for years.





List of Ingredients



• 4 to 6 Bucket or Cube Steaks
  
• 1 green pepper, sliced
  
• 1 onion , sliced
  
• 1 (12oz.)Jar of Mushroom gravy
  
• Salt
  
• Pepper
  
• 1/2 cup Flour
  
• 2 to 3 Tbls. oil
  






Instructions



1. Press each steak onto flour until covered. Put oil in large skillet and Brown floured steak very quickly on high heat.
   
2. Place steak in a baking dish, place onion and pepper on top of steak. Pour gravy over steak. Cover and bake 1 hour and 10 minutes at 350 degree oven.
   






Final Comments


This is good with mashed potato's , green beans and slaw. I also like cornbread with this meal.
