Bake in preheated oven 350 degrees 30 to 35 minutes or until done. Serves 8
List of Ingredients
1 pound lean ground beef--browned and drained
1 cup onion-chopped
1 cup green pepper---chopped
1 Tablespoon butter or margarine
1 (28oz.) can tomatoes with liquid -chopped
1 (4oz.) can mushrooms
1 (2-1/4oz.) can slice olives-drained (optional)
2 tsp. dried oregano or 1 Tbls. Spaghetti seasoning
12 ounces spaghetti-cooked and drained
2 cups cheddar cheese (8oz.package) shredded
1 can cream of mushroon soup--undiluted
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese- grated
Instructions
Put butter in a large skillet, saute green pepper and onion until tender. Add tomatoes, mushrooms, olives and oregano OR spaghetti seasoning. Add ground beef and simmer, uncovered for 10 minutes
Place half of the spaghetti in a greased 13x9" baking dish. Top with half of the vegetable and beef mixture.
Sprinkle with 1 cup of cheddar cheese. Repeat layers.
Mix soup and water until smooth; pour over the casserole. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes until heated through.
