Temperature; 375 degrees Serves; 4 List of Ingredients 4 apples, peeled and cored 3 Tbsp. granulated sugar Dash cinnamon TOPPING; 2 Tbsp. granulated sugar 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 1/4 tsp. baking powder 1 egg, beaten 4 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine 2 Tbsp. chopped walnuts 1 Tbsp. grated orange rind Instructions Prepare apples, make some slits in each apple. Place apples in lightly greased custard cups. Dust with sugar and cinnamon Stir together sugar, flour and baking powder. Mix in egg and melted butter. Spoon batter over apples, dividing evenly. Sprinkle with walnuts and orange rind. Bake at 375 degrees until apples are soft and batter is golden brown. 25 to 35 minutes. Serve apples slightly warm with orange or vanilla ice crem or a dollop of whipping cream, if desired.
