    BH&G Quick, Healthy & Delicious Cooking 1993
    Breakfast Sausage Patties -- w
    Serves: 12

    1 lb. skinless, boneless turkey breast

    3/4 c. cooked brown – or – basmati rice
    1/2 c. prune butter (see ‘MakeYourOwn’ Section)
    1 T. Dijon mustard
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. rubbed sage
    1/2 tsp. dried rosemary, minced

    Cut turkey breast into large chunks. Place in food processor and pulse until coarsely ground. Transfer ground turkey to medium bowl. Add the next 6 ingredients, and stir to just combine. Shape mixture into 12 2-in. patties. Spray cold broiler pan and rack with nonstick cooking spray. Preheat broiler

    Place patties on pan and broil 4-inches from heat, turning once, until cooked through, about 3 minutes per side.

    One patty equals: 69 calories…trace fat…23 mg cholesterol…196 mg sodium…6 gm carbohydrate…trace fiber…10 gm protein +++WWP: 1
