    Beef-Bean Ragout -- w

    BH&G 5 Ingredient Slow Cooking
    Beef-Bean Ragout (crockpot) -- w

    Serves: 6

    1 lb. beef stew meat, cut into 1-in. cubes
    1 15-oz. can red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
    1 15-oz. can tomato sauce with onion and garlic
    1 14-1/2-oz. can Italian-style stewed tomatoes, undrained
    1/2 of a 24-oz. pkg. (about 3-1/2 cups Frozen diced hash brown potatoes, w/onions and peppers

    In a 3-12 to 4-qt. slow cooker combine all ingredients. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours or on HIGH for 4to 5 hours/

    One serving equals: 247 calories…4 gm fat (1 gm saturated)…45 mg cholesterol…634 mg sodium…31 gm carbohydrate…6 gm fiber…23 gm protein +++WWP: 4
