Hobo Meatball Stew – Crockpot - e

1 lb. lean ground beef
1-1/2 tsp. salt-free seasoning blend, ‘divided’
1/2 tsp. pepper, ‘divided’
4 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
4 medium carrots, cut into chunks
1 large onion, cut into chunks
1/2 no-salt ketchup
1/2 c. water
1-1/2 tsp. vinegar
1/2 tsp. dried basil
In a bowl combine beef and 1 tsp. seasoning and 1/4 tsp. pepper, mix well. Shape into 1-in. balls. In a skillet over medium heat, brown meatballs on all sides; drain. Place potatoes, carrots and onion in a slow-cooker; top with meatballs. Combine remaining seasonings and pepper and remaining ingredients; pour over meatballs. Cover and cook on HIGH for 4-5 hours or until vegetables are tender.
