    Sweet Baby Carrots -- w

    BH&G 5 Ingredient Slow Cooking
    Sweet Baby Carrots (crockpot) -- w

    Serves: 10

    2 16-oz. pkg. peeled baby carrots
    1 16-oz. pkg frozen small whole onions
    1/2 tsp. dried dill weed
    3/4 c. water
    1 c. apple jelly

    In a 4-1/2 to 5 qt. slow cooker combine carrots and onions. Sprinkle with dill weed. Pour water over vegetables. Cover and cook on LOW setting 6 to 7 hours – or – HIGH for 3 to 3-1/2 hours

    Using a slotted spoon, remove carrots and onions from cooker. Stir in jelly, let stand for 2-3 minutes until jelly is melted. Stir sauce. Return carrot mixture to cooker. Gently stir to coat vegetables. Serve with slotted spoon.

    One serving equals: 178 calories…0 fat…0 cholesterol…53 gm sodium…43 gm carbohydrate…5 gm fiber…2 gm protein +++WWP:3
