    Minted Melon Cocktail

    Recipe Introduction

    Reduce calories and carbohydrates by using Splenda Granular in place of all or part of the sugar WW Points
    Exchanges
    Yield: 8 servings.

    1 cup sugar
    2 cups water
    4 mint leaves
    1/4 cup lemon juice
    2 cups cantaloupe balls
    2 cups watermelon balls
    2 cups honeydew melon balls
    Mint sprigs

    Combine sugar, water, and mint leaves in a saucepan, stir well. Bring to a boil over medium heat and boil 2 minutes. Discard mint leaves. Add lemon juice to syrup mixture, stirring well. Chill thoroughly.

    Combine melon balls in serving dish; pour syrup mixture over fruit, and toss gently. Garnish fruit with mint sprigs.
