Serves: 4
1-1/2 c. evaporated skim milk
1/2 c. liquid egg substitute
1/3 c. Splenda granular
dash of salt
1/4 tsp. peppermint flavor
1 can (16-oz.) pear halves in juice, drained
Garnish: fresh mint leaves
Combine milk and egg substitute in a saucepan. Use a whisk to stir and cook over medium heat until thickened, about 5 to 7 minutes. Pour into a bowl. Stir in the next 3 ingredients. Chill for at least 2 hours or until serving time.
Divide drained pear halves among 4 dessert dishes. Pour peppermint sauce over pears and serve. Garnish with mint leaves, if desired.
