    Herbed Pork Chops

    Herbed Pork Chops
    Exchanges
    Serves: 4 (1-1/4 c. rub)

    1/3 c. dried parsley flakes
    1/4 c. dried marjoram
    1/4 c. dried thyme
    3 T. rubbed sage
    2 T. garlic powder
    2 T. onion powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    4 boneless pork Loin chops (1 lb.)
    1 T. canola oil

    In a bowl, combine the first 8 ingredients. Rub 1/2 tsp. herb mixture over each side pork chops.

    In a nonstick skillet, brown chops in oil for 4-5 minutes on each side or until a meat thermometer reaches 160º.

    Store remaining rub in a covered containrer.

    One serving equals:190 calories…9 gm fat (2 gm saturated)…62 mg cholesterol…0 carbohydrate…0 fiber…25 gm protein. ++++ Exchanges: 3 lean meat….1/2 fat
