    Better-Than-Butter Sauce -- e-w

    Taste of Home Magazine – 2002
    Better-Than-Butter Sauce
    Yield: 10 T.

    2 tsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. chicken bouillon granules
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1/4 tsp. onion powder
    1/8 tsp. ground tarragon
    Dash pepper
    1/2 c. + 2 T. fat-free milk
    2 T. water

    In a saucepan, combine the first 6 ingredients. Stir in milk and water until smooth. Bring to a boil over medium heat; cook and stir for 1 minute or until thickened and bubbly. Serve over hot cooked vegetables.

    One 2-Tablespoon serving equals: 14 calories…trace fat…1 mg cholesterol…110 mg sodium…2 gm carbohydrate…trace fiber…1 gm protein ++++ Exchanges: free food ++++WWP: 0
