List of Ingredients
- 4 slices white or wheat bread
- 2 Tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- 3-1/2 Tbsp granulated sugar
- 1-1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Toast the bread lightly using either a toaster or broiler. Place on a cutting board or large plate. With a butter knife or other spreader, spread one side of each slice with about 1-1/2 teaspoons butter.
- Pour the sugar and cinnamon into a small bowl and stir with a spoon to combine well. Sprinkle about 1 tablespoon of the cinnamon-sugar over each slice of bread to evenly coat.
- Place the prepared bread slices on a baking sheet and toast under a hot broiler until golden brown and bubbly, about 2 minutes. Serve warm.
Makes 2 to 4 servings.
