Yes, this sounds strange, but this turns out great -- very much like a custard or bread pudding. Pooh-Bear Approved!





List of Ingredients



• 4 hot dog buns
  
• 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  
• 1 cup sugar
  
• 4 eggs
  
• 2 cups milk
  
• 1 tsp vanilla
  
• Cinnamon or nutmeg
  






Instructions



1. Open buns and lay facedown in a 9x13-inch pan. Melt butter; pour over buns. Mix sugar, eggs, milk and vanilla; pour over buns. Bake at 350 degrees (F) for 20 to 25 minutes.
   
   Serve warm or cold.
