    Cherry Fudge Bars

    1 box chocolate or fudge cake mix 21 oz. can cherry pie filling 2 eggs 1 tsp. cherry or almond extract Frosting: 1 cup sugar 1/3 cup milk 4 tsp. margarine 6 oz. pkg chocolate chips Mix cake ingredients together with a mixing spoon. Beat really well but don't use a mixer. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 20 minutes. Cool. Pan size: 10x15x1 Be sure to use the rigt pan. Frost with icing. Make icing by combining and boiling sugar, milk amd margarine for 1 minute. Add chocolate chips. Stir till melted. If icing is to thick,a few more drops milk may be added. Spread icing quickly. Cut into bars to serve. You can vary the recipe by using yellow or spice cake mix and apple pie filling. Use rum and vanilla flavoring. Use butterscotch chips for icing.
