1 cup yellow cornmeal
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 tablespoon sugar
1 cup milk
2 tablespoon oil
1 can cream style corn
Part2:
1/2 lb. grated sharp cheese
1 cup fresh tomatoes diced
1 can green chilies diced
Recipe
Part1:
Grease oblong baking dish.
Mix and sift dry ingredients together.
Add milk slowly to make a smooth batter.
Add corn and oil.Beat well by hand.
Pour half the batter in the dish. Smooth out evenly.
Part2:
Spread ingredients from part two over mixture.
Cover with remaining half of cornmeal batter.
Bake in moderate oven (350%) for about 45 minutes.
