    Cherry Chocolate Cake

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
    • 3 eggs
    • 1 (21 oz.) can cherry fruit filling
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 5 T margarine
    • 1/3 cup milk
    • 1 pkg. (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate pieces


    Instructions


    1. Combine chocolate cake mix, eggs and cherry filling.
    2. Mix until well-blended. Pour into greased 9x13 pan.
    3. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until cake
    4. springs back when lightly touched. Frost w/following.

    5. Frosting:
    6. In a small pan, combine sugar, margarine and milk.
    7. Bring to a boil stirring constantly.
    8. Cook one minute. Remove from heat and stir in
    9. chocolate pieces until melted and smooth.
    10. Spread over cake.


    Final Comments


    Frosting is also GREAT as a fruit fondue for bananas, strawberries or pineapple!
