Strawberry Pie

- 1-3 oz. pkg. strawberry jello
- Graham cracker crust
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 T cornstarch
- 1 1/2 cup water
- 1 egg white
- 1 or more quarts of strawberry, depending on size of
- pie plate.
Instructions
- Preheat oven 350 degrees.
- Prepare crust as instructed on cracker box or have
- ready made one.
- Beat egg white with fork until foamy and spread over
- crust. This will prevent the crust from getting soggy
- with pie filling.
- Bake for 7 minutes, don't overbake.
- Slice strawberries.
- Filling: Put in saucepan sugar, cornstarch, and water.
- Bring to a boil stirring constantly.
- Cook 2 minutes after boil or until clear.
- Add jello.
- Place strawberries in pie crust.
- Pour mixture over berries and cool in refrigerator.
- Slice and top off with whipped cream.
