Strawberry Pretzel Salad

- 2 2/3 cups pretzel crumbs
- 3 T. sugar
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 sticks melted butter (not margarine)
- 8 oz., cream cheese, softened
- 9 oz. Cool Whip (regular, not lite)
- 1 6 oz. pkg. strawberry Jell-O
- 2 cups boiling water
- 2 10 oz. pkgs. frozen stawberries (not thawed)
Instructions
- Combine and press pretzel crumbs,
- 3 T. of sugar and butter in 9x13 pan.
- Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 6 to 10 minutes.
- Whip 1 cup of sugar, cream cheese and Cool Whip until
- light and spread on pretzels when crust has cooled.
- Mix together strawberry Jell-O, boiling water
- and frozen strawberries and pour over cheese mixture.
- Refrigerate at least 2 hours.
