    1 cup flour
    1/2 cup salt
    2 teaspoons cream of tartar
    1 cup water
    food coloring (optional)

    Cook over mdium heat, stirring constantly, until forms a ball.
    Cool slightly, then knead in 1 to 2 drops of oil.
    Store in a plastic bag between uses.
    For permanent sculptures, bake the finish item for 3 hours at 250 degrees until hard, then cool completely. It can be painted or varnished,
