    Apple Biscuits

    Source of Recipe

    Dottie

    List of Ingredients

1 cup of sugar (brown sugar is evern better)
    1 cup of water
    1 stick of butter
1 can of refrigerated biscuits (Hungry Jack if possible)
    Ground cinnamon
Apples, peeled, cored, and sliced into large chunks

    Recipe

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Flatten out each biscuit
and place a large apple slice and a little ground cinnamon
on each. Wrap the biscuit around the apple, sealing the apple
inside and place into a baking pan. Mix the sugar, water, and
butter together in a pan and boil until the sugar is dissolved.
Sprinkle more cinnamon on the biscuits and then pour the sugar
and water mixture over the biscuits. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes.
Serve hot with vanilla ice cream or just by themselves.

    Note:
I don't know if this is a southern recipe or not but it
is quick, easy, and oh so good!
