Red Lobster's® Cheese Biscuits

2 cups + 3-4 tbsp. flour, divided
2-1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup milk
1/3 cup mayonnaise
2 tsp. sugar
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese -- shredded enough non-stick cooking spray (I prefer butter flavor)
to taste garlic salt
Recipe
Heat oven to 350º F. (175º C). In a large bowl, combine 2 cups flour, baking powder, salt, milk, mayonnaise and sugar and blend on medium speed until moistened. Work in 3 - 4 more tbsp. flour until dough is thick enough to hold its shape. Add cheese to bowl and work into dough well by hand. Drop by rounded tbsp. onto a greased baking sheet. Spray top of each biscuit with cooking spray. Bake at 350º F. 25 - 30 minutes. Immediately after removing from oven, spray lightly with cooking spray and lightly dust with garlic salt. Serve promptly. These freeze well for about 3 months
