Baked Bean Bread for the Bread Machine

1 tablespoons instant yeast
2-1/4 cups bread flour
2 cups baked beans, canned or homemade, use the variety of beans with molasses for best flavor
1 teaspoon olive oil
Recipe
Put in bread machine and bake according to your machine's instructions. (I like this on the dark crust setting.)
Notes: This recipe fills a 1-pound sized machine; the actual loaf weighs 1 1/2 pounds. The baked beans contain all the water, sugar, and salt needed for nice bread; they add a good additional dose of protein, texture, and a nice flavor. The beans get smooshed during kneading; you won't see individual beans in the final product. If you prefer, place in greased bread pan, let rise until double in bulk, bake for 30 to 35 minutes in 375 degree oven.
