    Cake:
    2 eggs
    2 cups each sugar, self-rising flour
    2 tbsp. vegetable oil
    2-1/2 cups crushed pineapple, drained
    1/2 cup pecans, chopped
    1-1/2 tsp. vanilla
    Frosting:
    1 pkg.(3 oz.) cream cheese, softened
    1-3/4 cups confectioners' sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 stick butter or margarine, softened
    1-3/4 cups pecans, chopped
    .

    Recipe




    Heat oven to 350º F. (175º C).
    Mix sugar and flour.
    Add eggs and vegetable oil; stir until moist and crumbly. Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Bake in a 9x13" baking pan about 45 minutes.
    Cool completely before frosting. Frosting: Cream all ingredients, except pecans.
    When cake has cooled, cover cake all over with frosting and sprinkle on chopped pecans.
    Makes 12 servings.
