    1 box (19.8 oz.) fudge brownie mix
    1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
    2 tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 tbsp. cornstarch
    1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk (not plain evaporated)
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla extract

    Recipe



    Heat oven to 350ºF (175ºC). Prepare brownie mix according to pkg. directions; spread in a greased 9x13" pan. In a small bowl, beat cream cheese, butter and cornstarch until fluffy. Gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk, then add egg and vanilla extract. Pour evenly over brownie batter. Bake 50 - 60 minutes, until top is lightly browned. Let cool. Cut into 4-1/2x1" bars. Store, covered, refrigerated.
    Makes 26 bars.
