    List of Ingredients




    1 1/4 cup rolled oats
    1/2 whole wheat flour
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 cup dried coconut shreds
    1/3 cup raisins
    2 Tbs corn oil
    3/4 cup mashed apple (peeled)
    1/4 cup butter
    1/2 tsp vanilla
    1/3 cup toasted ground almonds
    4 Tbs maple syrup

    Recipe





    Mix dry ingredients and set aside. Then blend apple and maple syrup till it forms a nice smooth mushy mass. Add butter. Add liquid to dry mixture and mix to form a homogeneous whole. Scoop spoonfuls onto lightly greased baking sheet or non-stick flat pans (e.g. pizza pan) and flatten to a 1/4" thickness.
    Bake in a preheated oven at 400F for 15-20 minutes.
    Cool on rack.
