Easy Cocoa Coconut Balls

3-1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk)
3 tsp. vanilla extract
1 can (3-1/2 oz.) flaked coconut, about 1-1/3 cups
1/2 cup chopped nuts, optional
Recipe
In a large bowl, combine confectioners' sugar and cocoa; stir in sweetened condensed milk and vanilla, mixing thoroughly. Mixture will be quite stiff. Stir or knead in coconut and nuts, if using. Chill mixture about 30 minutes, then shape into 1" balls. Chill balls at least 2 hours, until firm. Store in tightly covered containers. Makes about 5 dozen (1") balls.
