No Roll Sugar Cookies

4 cups original Bisquick®
1-1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
3/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 tsp. almond extract or vannilla extract
2 eggs
1 cup granulated sugar
food coloring
Recipe
Heat oven to 400º F (200º C).
Stir all ingredients except granulated sugar in large bowl until soft dough forms.
Shape dough into balls about 1" diameter, roll in granulated sugar to coat.
Place cookies about 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with bottom of a glass.
Use food coloring to tint dough red, green, whatever color.
Roll in colored sugar before baking. Bake 5 - 6 minutes or until the edges are light golden brown.
Cool 1 minute and then move to wire rack, until cooled. Store in airtight container. Makes about 4 dozen
