Pecan Pistachio Sandies

1 box (18 oz.) yellow cake mix
1 box (small) instant pistachio pudding
1 egg
1 cup oil
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans, optional
enough decorative green sugar, for topping
Recipe
Heat oven to 325ºF (165ºC). Empty cake mix and dry pudding mix into a large mixing bowl. Add egg, oil, vanilla and pecans. Roll mixture into small balls and press flat on a cookie sheet. Sprinkle decorative green sugar over pressed cookies. Bake 7 - 8 minutes, until center of cookies is set. Amt varies with size.
