    We do not use the carrots....Hubby does not like carrots...

    List of Ingredients




    5-6 potatoes, peeled and diced
    1 onion, chopped
    1 lg. carrot, sliced
    1 lg. stalk celery, sliced
    4 chicken bouillon cubes
    1 tbs. parsley flakes
    5 c. water
    1 tbs. salt (less if desired)
    Pepper
    1/4-1/3 c. butter
    1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk

    Recipe




    Put all ingredients in except evaporated milk in crock pot. Cook on HIGH for about 8 hours or until potatoes are tender. Check every couple of hours. During last hour turn down to LOW add milk. Leave on LOW or turn OFF until ready to serve. Use skim milk evaporated milk and Mazola oil for low fat diet.
