1 pkg. (2- layer) size regular cake mix, no pudding added
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese,. softened
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
dash salt
1 pkg. (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate piece

Recipe




Preheat oven. Prepare cake mix according to pkg. directions, except omit 1/4 cup water. Fill paper baking cups in muffin pans 2/3 full. Cream cheese with sugar, beat in egg and dash of salt. Stir in chocolate pieces. Drop 1 rounded tsp. cheese mixture in for each cupcake. Bake according to pkg. directions. Makes 30 cupcakes.
