Short Rib Stew

List of Ingredients
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1/2 seasoned salt
- 1/4 t. pepper
- 3 to 4 lbs. beef short ribs
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup chopped onions
- 1 clove garlic chopped
- 4 cups hot water
- 1 6oz. can tomato paste
- 2 T. beef flavor instant Bouillion
- 1 bay leaf
- 8 small whole potaoes or 4 med . potoes quarted.
- 2 cups sliced carrots
- 1 cup sliced celery
- 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms (about 4 oz..)
Instructions
- combine flour, salt, peper. Add ribs few at a time. Coat. Brown ribs in oil. Remove
- Cook onions and garlic in drippings until tender.
- Add ribs and water, tomato paste, bouillion and bay leaf.
- Bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours.
- Add potatoes, cook 15 minutes.
- Add remaining vegetables, cook 15 more minutes longer until tender.
