Spinach Lasagne

- 2 T. oil
- 1 large onion chop- raw
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 t. Italian seasoning
- 2 packages frozen chopped Spinach, well drain
- 1 can mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup sharp cheese, grated
- 1 egg
- 1 jar ( 32 oz. ) Thick Spaghette Sauce
- 1/2 cup dry red wine ( opt. )
- 2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 9 Lasagne noodles
- Small jar Romano cheese
Instructions
- Fry onion till tender; add garlic and Italian seasoning.
- Stir in spinach- remove from heat.
- Add soup and egg and cheese
- In bowl, pour spaghetti sauce, and wine. Mix.
- pour 1/2 sauce mixture into dish or pan.
- Arrange noodles over the sauce. Spread 1/2 veg. filling .
- Sprinkle with 1/3 of mozzarella
- Arrange 3 more noodles over the cheese.
- Spread with remaining filling spinach.
- Sprinkle with another 1/3 mozzarella. Top with remaning noddles. and remainging sauce.
- Bake 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
- Sprinkle with remaig 1/3 of the mazarella
- Bake 5 minutes more. Let stand 5 minutes. before serving.
- makes 6 servings.
- sprinkle with Romano Cheese before serving.
