    Chicken Fried Steak


    List of Ingredients


    • four (4) 6 oz. slices round steak, cut 1/2 inch thick
    • 2 large eggs
    • 1 1/4 cups milk, plus 1 tablespoons
    • 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons all -purpose flour
    • 4 Tablespoons of oil
    • 1 onion minced
    • Wocestershire Sauce to taste
    • Salt , Pepper


    Instructions


    1. Season meat on both sides. and pound to a thickness of 1/4 inch.
    2. In a bowl bowl whisk the eggs and 2 tablespoons of milk. Dredge steaks in one cup of flour., dip in the egg mixture, letting excess drip off, and dredge in flour again.
    3. Heat the oil in a cast iron skillet over moderately high heat until hot. Add steaks in batches and cook for 2 to 3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
    4. Transfer the steaks to a platter lined with paper towels and keep them warm.
    5. Pour off all but 2 Talbespoons of fat from pan. Add the onion and cook about 5 minutes, ountil golden. Add 2 talespoons of flour and cook and stirring, until lightly colored.
    6. Heat remaining milk and the Worcestershire Sauce, salt and pepper to taste. Stirring, until thickened. Strain into sauceboat and serve with the steak...
