Jelly Donut Muffins

List of Ingredients

2 tablespoons shortening
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
2 cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup jelly
1 cup chopped pecans
melted butter




Recipe

1. Cream shortening and sugar.
2. Add eggs.
3. Beat.
4. Add remaining dry ingredients alternately with milk.
5. Spray muffin pans.
6. Fill 1/2 full.
7. Place a spoon of jelly on each.
8. Top with more batter.
9. Brush with butter.
10. Sprinkle nuts and more cinnamon on top.
11. Bake at 400. for 20- 25 minutes or so.
