Six Week Bran Muffins

3 cups All Bran© cereal
1 cup boiling water
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 qt. (2 cups) buttermilk
3/4 cup honey
2 eggs
2-1/2 cups flour
2-1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
Recipe
Heat oven to 350ºF (175ºC). Bring water to boil, add butter and cereal. Add buttermilk and stir until evenly mixed. Beat honey and eggs; add to cereal mixture. Add flour, baking soda and salt; stirring well. Measure into greased muffins tins; bake 25 minutes. Batter can be stored in refrigerator up to 6 weeks prior to usage.
