    4 cups of sliced fresh peaches
    3/4 cup of sugar, divided
    1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
    1 cup of all-purpose flour
    1/2 cup of butter or margarine

    Recipe




    Toss the sliced peaches, 1/3 cup sugar, and cinnamon in a
    large bowl and spoon into a lightly greased 8-inch square
    baking dish or a 9-inch deep-dish pieplate, and set aside.

    Combine the flour and the remaining sugar in a bowl and cut
    in the butter or margarine with a pastry blender until the
    mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle the mixture on top of the
    peaches and bake at 375 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.
