List of Ingredients
4 green bell peppers
2 large onions
1 can of italian tomaoes or peeled tomatos
4 pork chops or sliced veal calf liver
1 can of water for gravy
Recipe
Fry chops or liver until browned and set aside.
cut bell peppers and onions in strips then saute' them in skillet until tender,
add tomatoes and water then cover and let simmer.
add salt, pepper, and sugar to taste.
add chops or liver and cover simmering until done.
this is a quick dish which accompanied by a choice of angel hair pasta or creamed potatos, with french bread and butter is ideal.
a deep covered saute' pan is ideal for this dish.
