    List of Ingredients




    5 14 oz. packs of dried figs (cut up)
    3 lbs. pitted dates (checked for seeds and cut up)
    1 lb. pecans
    3 lbs. seedless raisins
    3 navel orges (cut into small chunks)
    3lbs. mixed dried fruits
    3/4 teaspoon allspice
    3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
    1 pint honey
    1 pint pancake syrup (B'rer Rabbit)

    Recipe



    1. mix all ingredients, except for the orange chunks, in a large bowl.

    2. feed mixture through grinder, adding some of the orange once in a while.

    3. as mixture comes out of grinder, lay out in rolls on wax papper.

    4. the rolls of filling should be approximate thickness of your middle finger.

    This is enough filling for about 450 cookies 1 1/2 inches long.
