    1/2 lb. powder sugar
    1 tablespoon butter
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla ( or almond) extract
    pet milk

    Recipe



    1. blend together sugar and butter.

    2. add extract and sufficient milk until mixture is thin enough to spread.

    3. tint with food coloring

    4. spread over tops of baked cookies. sprinle tops with colored nonpareils. let dry.
