    GERMAN POTATO SALAD

    List of Ingredients

    10 lb. Red Potatoes
    1 lb. Bacon
    5 or 5oz. Ham Fat
    1/2 bunch celery
    3 oz. yellow onions
    1/2 fresh green pepper
    1 small jar pimentos (not necessary)
    1 to 1 1/2 Cups Cider Vinegar
    about 1/2 to 3/4 Cup of sugar
    1 cup hot water
    Salt and Pepper to taste


    Recipe



    Dice and fry bacon.
    Dice Celery, bell pepper, onion and add to slice potatoes.
    Mix vinegar, sugar, and add hot water. Mix well.
    Pour over potatoes and mix well.
    Serves 20 to 25 people.
