finely chop onions
garlic
italian seasoning in jar
majoma, oregano
2 teaspoons cinnamon
3 large cans tomato sauce
2 large cans tomato paste
1 1/2 cup sugar

I put olive oil in pan, chop several onions, garlic. I then use italian seasoning in jar, majoma, oregano when the onions are sauteed. I then add at lease 2 teaspoons of cinnamon. I use 3 large cans of tomato sauce and 2 large cans tomato paste. Please add 1 1/2 cups of sugar to gravy. I love to use italian sausage silimer to my Dad's home made. The closest I can find is Save-a-center brand. I have used rump roast in my gravy, meat balls or just ground meat sauteed. Smother eggplant is a great addition and I do add eggplant to my Lazanga gravy.
